Once you have logged in, there are two ways to post a gig, from the main menu and form your Dashboard.
To post a gig, simply click the link on top which reads, "Post a Gig" on top.
or from your Dashboard, once logged in, you will see the Post a Gig button on the top of the sidebar on the right-hand side.
Once you have selected the Post a Gig link, a new window will pop open, here you can fill out the information regarding your gig.

What are you looking for?
This is your title of your gig, be sure to spotlight key points to your title to gain interest from other contractors for your event or service needed. - Category - Next, we will choose the category that best fits the description on what we are looking for? ( i.e Contractor services, Programmer, Massage Therapist, etc)
- SubCategory - this is optional, for instance if we choose a category of Photography, we would choose a subcategory Wedding Photography to choose a specific photographer.
- Skills - This is very important! This area will determine which skillsets are needed and filter out contractors that best match the selected skillset in your area. In this example we are using Photography. As you can see as you type in the skills needed, the skills we automatically be shown that best describes the skillset needed. This area is always being updated, as more Categories, and Skills are added.
- Tags - Tags is what is used for search engines. Choose a tag that best describes your gig, as this will be used by the search engine to determine where your gig is for contractors. For example if we were looking for a wedding photographer, we would put a tag of photography, wedding photos, wedding photography.
- Budget - Budget can be either hourly or as a fixed price. If hourly, you will need to determine the total number of hours that you would like spend. How much would you like to spend on the gig? Is this an hourly, or a fixed price? There is also a list of currencies to choose from, for instance if you are in the UK you can click the dropdown where Currency is and select the Lbs selection for using Lbs.
- Duration - How many days would you like to project to be posted for?
- Location - Where are you located? Put the City, and State, or country where you are located, and this will start to Auto-fill the information as you typing it in from Google locations. This will help to find contractors in your area. Here you can decide if you are looking for a local person, or you would like to have someone remote.
- Files and Documents - This feature allows you to upload pictures, documents, and videos to best describe what you are looking for for your gig. This can be done by clicking on the ADD MEDIA button to add your pictures, documents, videos, etc from your PC.
Once you have clicked on ADD MEDIA, you will see the following screen, Drag and Drop your documents onto this screen, or click on Select Files to select from your PC.
Once you click on Select files you can upload your files, documents, pictures by selecting them, and than press OK.
Once you have selected your files you will be brought back to previous screen, press the Insert into Post button.
- Click on Continue. Once you press on Continue, make sure all fields have been completed and than click Continue this will bring you to your Preview screen.
- Preview screen - Here you can see your entire posted gig, and confirm and submit your gig.
- Once you hit Confirm & Submit, congratulations, you have successfully posted your gig, and contractors can start bidding as soon as possible!
- If you are not satisfied for any reason with your gig, you can always click on EDIT to re-edit your post.
